Job Summary:

Manages the Field Service Engineers. Administers the installation, troubleshooting and technical solutions of products/equipment in order to ensure and deliver the highest level of quality to the customer. Determines and recommends optimal and best FSE deployment based on considerations of response time, skills and abilities, travel expense, and overtime considerations. Facilitates and acts as liaison between customer and Technical Support Team. Creates and drives performance metrics, revenue targets and expense control including, but not limited to travel expenses, overtime expenses and training expenses.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Work to maximize customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Ensures the essential duties of the FSE’s job functions are completed to obtain optimum operating performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate the value proposition of Ziehm-Orthoscan Imaging service to customers.
  • Manage Region expenses, OT approval to meet Regional goals.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA.
  • Meet annual RSM goals and metrics as established.
  • Hire, develop, train and coach Field Service Engineers (FSE’s).
  • Prioritize customer and business objectives to provide clear direction to FSE’s.
  • Provide additional escalation support to resolve key account issues.
  • Develop proactive account plans to prevent or predict issues.
  • Provide continuous communication across organization and for key accounts.
  • Responsible for Region Work Order review and closure.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, and/or other closely related technical degree preferred. Science degree/years of experience will be evaluated.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing remote employee-based territory.
  • Minimum 3 years previous field service experience in medical imaging and general fluoroscopy equipment.
  • Previous experience in managing remote employee-based territory.
  • Knowledge of the Diagnostic C-Arm X-Ray equipment or equivalent diagnostic industry experience.
  • Ability to articulate and explain value of Service Agreement offerings.
  • Working knowledge of SMAX or experience with equivalent enterprise service software solution.

  • Competent knowledge of MS Office applications.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an office environment and in the field.
  • Typical working hours days are Monday – Friday 7am to 4pm and is subject to change depending on work demands.
  • Must maintain a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and meet company insurability guidelines.
