Portable and Lightweight
The portability of OrthoScan Mobile DI offers ease of movement between satellite clinics, urgent care centers, emergency departments, athletic team venues, and military units. Weighing approximately 35 pounds, Mobile DI introduces versatility to orthopaedic imaging. Mobile DI offers an optional custom case with wheels for easy transportation between facilities.
Mobile DI provides easy access to shoulder images as well as weight-bearing knee and foot views. The Mobile DI mini c-arm can be placed on a table top, or mounted on the accessory cart enabling Mobile DI to move easily between rooms. The accessory cart also provides orbital c-arm rotation needed for shoulder and knee views.
OrthoScan Mobile DI has a simple interface that allows the user to perform basic imaging with little, if any, preparation. The custom keyboard allows single key access to most functions. Mobile DI images can be viewed on monitor or tablet interfaces. The images can be transferred wirelessly.
Tablet access for image viewing is not approved by the FDA for primary diagnostic interpretation.
Exceptional Image Quality
With OrthoScan Mobile DI, fine details of relevant anatomy are visible due to the increased grayscale and contrast capability of flat detector technology. The Mobile DI reduces the distortion inherent with image intensifier technology, improving diagnostic accuracy.
Flat Detector Technology
Flat detectors provide increased image quality, improved reliability, and more efficient imaging. Compared to image intensifiers, the flat detector's more direct signal conversion path, with essentially no optics, results in uniform image brightness and less geometric distortion. The solid state detector provides more reliability and no image degradation due to vacuum leaks. Lastly, flat detectors read more of the individual x-rays, translating into better image quality for a given dose.
Connectivity allows for images to be transfered wired or wirelessly, making offsite diagnosis easy, cost effective, and fast. Images can be sent in standard imaging formats: JPEG, TIFF, DICOM, or EMR. Imaging with Mobile DI is instant with no development or scanning needed.
